CBSE has clarified the status of Tier-II recruitment results for Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) and Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS), following media reports about when the results would be announced.
The Tier-II examinations, conducted in March 2026 for recruitment to several posts, included both objective and descriptive components. More than 2.1 lakh descriptive answer books across 68 disciplines formed part of the evaluation exercise.
CBSE stated that answer keys and OMR-sheet images had already been displayed on the portal and that OMR evaluation was complete. Physical evaluation of the descriptive answer books had reached an advanced stage.
The Board said Tier-II results would be declared in phases beginning around the middle of August 2026. Candidates were advised to follow the official website for verified information and ignore rumours or unconfirmed reports.
